Service and maintenance

Service and maintenance for automatic hospital doors

Scheduled maintenance and repairs on automatic and airtight doors, carried out by our own technicians throughout Italy. Every visit is recorded, so the door stays compliant and under warranty.

What we do

An automatic hospital door cannot stop.

Doors in operating theatres, intensive care units and wards work all day, every day. Regular maintenance keeps them safe, airtight and reliable, and reduces sudden failures.

01

Scheduled maintenance

Regular checks of automation, safety devices, sensors, seals and moving parts, at the agreed frequency.

02

On-call repairs

Fault diagnosis and repair, with original spare parts for the doors we manufactured and installed.

03

Maintenance log

Every automatic door has a maintenance label listing the reference standards and a table to record each visit.

04

Documentation

For every door we install we issue a certificate of correct installation and the technical file, to be kept with the log.

Reference standards

Maintenance and warranty: the standards.

Maintenance of automatic doors is not optional: it is required by the product standards, the Machinery Directive and Italian workplace safety law. This is why the warranty on automatic doors depends on recorded maintenance.

EN 16005Safety in use of power operated pedestrian doors: safety requirements, checks and guidance for installation and maintenance.
EN 16361Product standard for power operated pedestrian doors other than swing type (for example sliding doors): performance and CE marking.
Machinery Directive 2006/42/ECAutomatic doors are machinery: CE marking, technical file, instructions for use and maintenance. From 20 January 2027 it is replaced by Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
Directives 2014/30/EU and 2014/35/EUElectromagnetic compatibility and low voltage of the operator and electrical devices.
Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008Workplace safety act: article 64 requires regular technical maintenance of workplaces, installations and devices; Annex IV requires power operated doors and gates to work without risk to workers.
Manufacturer's instructionsFrequency and content of the checks set out in the door's technical file and recorded on the maintenance label.
