Technical features
Questions from designers.
Do you use cardboard honeycomb cores?
No. All service doors have the 5-layer compound panel with a solid class 1 expanded polystyrene core: it withstands humidity and impacts better and holds hardware and automation over time.
Are the service doors fire-rated (REI)?
No, they are not fire-resistant doors. Where the project requires fire compartments, certified REI doors must be used.
Slim or heavy-duty profile?
The slim profile takes up less space, with handle and lock on the panel. The heavy-duty profile is sturdier, carries handle and lock on the aluminium profile and is required for the full-glass version and for flush leaf and panel.
Can noise between rooms be reduced?
Yes: swing doors can have the 51 dB drop-down bottom seal, which closes the gap under the leaf when the door is closed.
Can a panic bar be fitted?
Yes, on request. With a panic bar on the opposite side, a handle is fitted instead of the lock.
Are automatic versions available?
Yes, both swing and sliding, single or double leaf. Let us know in your request and we will propose the right automation for the room.
Do you have a project or a door schedule?
Send it to us: we will reply with a quote and support for the tender specification.
